We started by making content retrieval simpler, then extended the workflow into AI animated-drama creation — turning one-off generation into a project that keeps moving.
MediaGo kicked off with a clear goal: build a video downloader so simple that anyone can grab the videos they love without jumping through hoops.
v1.0.0 shipped with major site support and built-in browser auto-sniffing. The community received it warmly — thousands of GitHub stars in weeks.
Mobile adaptation rolled out — switch seamlessly between desktop and mobile, download videos wherever you are.
Added Docker / NAS deployment so you can run your own private download service. Batch downloads got a lot faster too.
Polished the built-in player — broader format support, smoother playback, better experience all around.
We brought in a professional design team for a full visual refresh. The new UI is cleaner, more intuitive, and every detail has been polished for the best possible feel.
MediaGo enters a new chapter. Alongside an open core, we began building a more durable product and service foundation so downloading, processing and what comes next can keep evolving.
